Freecycle isn't it great?

I love Freecycle & all the wonderful things people offer on it. We have gotten a mirade of things off there & offered a few too. We have gotten chickens, a clothesline, clothes for my daughter & a Halloween costume to just mention a few things. We have gotten rid of a few things that people posted a want or need for that were just sitting around collecting dust. After my mother in law passed away last year we had some things to find new homes for like some of her medical equipment that the supply company could not take back. Plus a local organization that was looking for yarn to make blankets & hats for sick babies in the hospital got a full box of yarn too. It feels so good to be able to help someone else out even though you have no extra money, you may have something sitting around collecting dust that someone else could get some use out of. If you haven't tried Freecycle yet I would encourage you to give it a try. I have read posts where people got refrigerators, washers & dryers too, even a car once. Who doesn't like free stuff? That's the best price for me. And with the countries economy the way it is right now what better price for most people to pay than free? I think it is the best way we can help our communities right now especially those in real need & not have to stretch our wallets any more than they already are.
